the Barb

from $90.00

Named after my Grandmother, She was a very athletic women, mountain climbing, Tennis and Swimming were all part of her routine. She was never without a project in her hands, gardening, crafting- embroidery, sewing quilts, crocheting, and knitting. She loved deserts- especially chocolate ones. One cake recipe that the family still uses is “Vera’s cake” it was known to have won several cooking contests in the past.

We had dinners with her almost every Sunday growing up. She had a special bread box that she kept treats in. There were always rugelach and riesen candies inside. Right next to that bread box was a jar of chocolate chip cookies that if you were really really lucky you got to have one.

Our Quilters Clappers are made in Quinton Virginia. They are cut from hardwood and shaped by hand. Each one is engraved and hand finished with a food safe oil. Due to the handmade nature of these items there will be slight variations in each item. They are roughly 3 ½ inches wide, 11 ½ inches long and and 1 ¾ inches thick.

April was quite a month.

I didn’t get as much done from my list as I typically do and that’s ok, sometimes life gets busy or you need a break. I usually find after a break I’m
more inspired than ever.

 I spent April relaxing
